Since the winter semester 2001-2002, all students of Potsdam University, of the Potsdam Technical College, and the Konrad Wolf College for Film and Television can obtain the student's semester ticket. With this ticket, you can board all busses, trams, urban railways (S-Bahn), and underground railways (U-Bahn) throughout the entire public transport system of Berlin and Brandenburg (VBB). In the Berlin ABC tariff sectors, this ticket also permits a bicycle to be taken along.
Since the summer semester of 2003, the semester ticket cost 112 Euro, which is automatically levied together with the registration fees.
The semester ticket can be issued at the ViP and HVG information points run by the Potsdam public transportation companies at the beginning of the respective semester. You must present your identity card, one passport photograph, and the semester ticket certificate, which you will receive together with the other student documents when you register or re-register.
