Templin suburb - Teltow suburb - Schlaatz - Waldstadt I - Waldstadt II - Industriegelände: Industrial estates and the Potsdam South Forest

There are both private residential estates and three large prefab housing estates in this residential quarter. The quarter comprises of the Teltow and Templin suburbs, Hermannswerder peninsula and the Schlaatz, and the Waldstadt I and Waldstadt II housing estates.

The Siedlung Eigenheim estate, located near the woods, and the Stadtrandsiedlung estate, which is listed as a heritage site, both distinguished by their characteristically shaped roofs, also became popular residential areas. The Kolonie Daheim and Kunersdorfer Straße estates, again listed as a heritage site, consisting of two and three-story estate buildings constructed between 1925 and 1945, also form homogenous residential areas.

The buildings of the Hoffbauer social welfare foundation are located in the southern section of the Hermannswerder peninsula, and the Tornow and Küsselstraße streets are found in the northern part, characterized by the surrounding detached houses.

The Ravensberge forest ranges between the Teltow and Templin suburbs with a long system of pathways which invite the visitor to relax in nature. The forest reaches in the west all the way to the Templiner See lake and an embankment road, which you can take to the Templin beach, and some kilometers further, the town of Caputh. The Telegrafenberg hill, with the famous Einsteinturm (the Einstein tower) on its summit is also located in the forest. The Institute for Research of Climatic Effects and the Geo Research Center both established sites in this area in the last few years.
