Since October 2024, there has been an additional option for collecting ID cards and passports in Potsdam. Citizens with postal codes 14480 and 14482 can now also pick up these documents at the Edisonallee 5-9 location by appointment. With this additional service, the city aims to ease the burden on citizen services and make the process more user-friendly.
Additionally, documents can be delivered by bicycle courier at a specified time at no extra cost. For even more convenience, passports and ID cards can also be collected without an appointment at the document station on the administrative campus in Hegelallee.
