Parks | Woodland

Potsdam’s cityscape and cultural landscape is rich in unique parks and gardens of international stature. The famous historical parks belonging to the Foundation of Prussian Palaces and Gardens Berlin-Brandenburg are not the only ones worth a visit. Many urban parks look back on a long and turbulent history and play a central role in the well-being of Potsdam’s citizens and visitors. Newly transformed and newly created green spaces reflect Potsdam’s self-confidence. The ‘Green City Map’ is a handy guide which describes the green potential, recreational value and Potsdam’s quality of life in detail. Further information can be obtained from the Garden Culture Trail of Potsdam.
